This is a coloured cement-like render that is applied in two layers. The top layer is scratched back while the surface is still workable, but after the initial setting has taken place. cratch render is used extensively throughout the UK and Ireland, eliminates the need for external painting and is very easily maintained.
Monocouche Rendering
We use Monocouche rendering as we believe it is an excellent product that offers long-lasting and durable results. Monocouche scratch render provides a traditional finish for properties. Unlike many other coloured renders, monocouche is smooth until you scratch it back to achieve the dappled effect.
